Operations manager R&D (ENGLISH)

For Unilever we are searching for a R&D operations manager data (ENGLISH) for a period of approximately 6 months.
The operations manager will help coordinate all work streams, track progress against agreed timelines and support the project with regular updates of progress. The operations manager will be part of the project team and support the project on many operational activities that need to be done to achieve the project on time and at the right quality. Overall, this is a great opportunity for an action-oriented person, who is willing to learn fast and experience the excitement of being part of a big strategic project. To achieve the Unilever ambition of doubling the business in the next 10 years, a big transformation project has been initiated within R&D which requires tight management in a complex environment.
Key accountabilities
As part of the PMO help to manage a multitude of activities
1. Help develop and update the full planning of the big scale project network and tracking the plan, schedule and timelines
2. Support the operational side of the big scale project, through data management and reporting.
3. Help develop tracking dashboards and provide regular updates of progress in the various workstreams 4. Keep track of action lists for the core team
5. Help ensure project risks are assessed, managed and mitigated as part of the total network
6. Managing change management and control
7. Prepare regular update presentations to senior management (steering team, leadership team)
8. Coordinate one or more of the sub-work streams by organising regular meetings with the work stream owners and discussing progress
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
Minimal Bachelors Degree
Fluent in English
Project Management experience (networks, risks)
Excellent skills in data management, data handling and reporting
Preferable technical background and experience in a technical environment
Effective communicator, good presentation skills (preparing and presenting).
Dynamic, flexible, self-sufficient
Ability to cope with pressure, assertive and adaptable
Holding work streams accountable for delivering against plan
